From Woodbridge: Pass Sutton Hoo on your right and just before the turn off to Orford on your left, turn left into a sandy/gravel road for parking.
10th July Martlesham 8½km (5½m) Car Park: Wide verge at bottom of Martlesham Street (GR 253478)
17th July Eyke – 8 km (5 ½m) - Car park: Near the school in Eyke Grid Ref: TM 316517 (another long one!!)
7th August Brandeston – 7 km (4½ m) Car Park: Brandeston Community Centre, Pass Pub on right and in 10 yards turn left towards Community Centre
21st August Orwell River Walk - 6km (4miles)
From Woodbridge / Felixstowe - A12 towards Ipswich, exit at Ransoms Europark, drive towards Ipswich town centre after second roundabout turn left towards Orwell Country Park, drive over bridge and turn right. Car Park at the end.
4th September Newbourne, 6km (4miles)
Car Park: Village Hall, The Street. (Near St Mary's Church )

Poles:
Most of you have got your own poles, for those who haven’t Exel Nordic Walking Poles are currently available from £50.00 (basic) £60.00 (more advanced) £70.00 plus (profi)
Clothing:
Remember to dress in accordance with the weather. Wet coats need to be small enough to put in your rucksack (no shoulder bags) they can’t be tied around your waist whilst Nordic Walking so your arms are free to use the poles in the correct way. Wear sturdy trainers or lightweight walking shoes. Ensure you have got some water with you and during the summer please ensure the application of sunscreen and a hat.
Notice:
If you decide on the day it’s not problem the only time you have to let me know you are coming is when you require poles or if you are late. Just turn up but make sure the weather is on your side.

Drive from Melton Village towards Ufford Park. Pass Horse & Groome pub on right, driving up the hill, take next road on your right called Old Church Road. Pass the Old Rectory and a bungalow on your right. At the next gras triangle take a right turn and than immediately turn left. Park in front the cladded barn.
RENDLESHAM FOREST - Phoenix Trails (blue & red trail) - 6.2km / 3.75 miles -
Follow the B1084 Woodbridge to Orford road. Rendlesham Forest Centre is approx 4 miles along this road on the right hand side.

BRANDESDON
Travelling North from Woodbridge on the A12. Drive north on A12 from Woodbridge towards Gt Yarmouth, A12 becomes single carriageway afer Melton turn. On resumption of dual carriageway which by-passes Wickham Market, take 2nd exit to “B1116 Framlingham” . Turn left at T junction and at roundabout take second exit to Framlingham. In about 100 yds take left turn down lane, at T- junction turn right and continue into village of Easton. In Easton village follow the road curving left & right alongside a “Crinkle Crankle” wall. In about 100 yds take left turn to “Kettleburgh” Continue through Kettleburgh and into Brandeston. Pass “The Queens Head Pub” on the right & a row of cottages. Take the next turn on your right in about 200yds - signposted " Mill Lane - No Through Road". Pass a few houses & 30 Sign. Millstone is the next house on the left -painted yellow & with dormer window & black gates

LITLLE BEALINGS
From Ipswich - Rushmere, Playford Road sign posted Little Bealings turn left. Community Centre on the left past the church.
From Woodbridge: Martlesham, Playford Road sign post Little Bealings turn right. Community Centre on left past the church or Wyvale Garden Centre at roundabout turn right, pass Wyvale on your left, take next junction left and left again, follow the sign to Ipswich. Little Bealing Community Centre is on the top of the hill on your right.

Car Park: White Lion Pub, follow the road from Decoy Farm (Old Church Road), pass the old church on your right and turn right at the T-junction. The pub is on your right hand side.
